Looks like the problem has been fixed. I went to charge my Zune and once it had some life in it, it went to the loading screen and then to the menu screen. Glad that it wasn't a long lasting problem.

Same thing here. I use my M3 Simply for my DS. Plays movies, music, txt files, the works really... Oh BTW, emulation and homebrew too.

Recently, I have considered getting a touch, but they're too expensive and there'll probably some newer hardware coming out anyway... (Plus if I keep thinking like this, I'll never end up wasting my money on one... )

Like I said, use something better. I personally use Floola (or whatever it was), it does the job nicely.

One thing I found annoying was that when I had encoded a video for iPod (which worked after copying it manually), iTunes, in its better judgement, decided to re-encode the video. Uh.

This is why typical end users don't deserve media devices...Emily, girl I know, her Zune froze that day. I was at her house when she told me about it and I asked her if she tried to reset it. She told me she looked it up online and that it didn't work. So I went online and googled "Zune restart" and the first thing I see was the article about how it was a bug and you have to wait. So I asked her, "Did you really try googling it?". "Well...no."

Ok, stupid mistake.
