| Hi guy.. I would to know how I can change the title super mario 64 and the text PRESS START... ah also the the menu... what are the programs for that? |

| can you explain me how to change the text with hex editor? I have found the switch FIND and I have written PRESS and I have found the code but if I change PRESS with another word the game does not work.. why? |

| It's a protected area of the ROM. The Nintendo 64 has a lockouts chip to provent pirated / unlicensed games, so if you modify anything from 0x1000 to 0x101000 you'll need a program to correct the CRC.
