Hey, now, on rare occasions I'll use crumpled money, especially if I just bought something before

I keep my bills in the part of the wallet designed for it, so they don't get crumpled. Go me.

I uh, don't carry my money.

My mom does.

She thinks I might lose it.

Stock manager? Pft. At least you don't have to sit in a room for hours on end, waiting for people who will never come. That's what I have to do as a TA. Of course, more boredom means more time for endless computer use, but it still doesn't make up for lost time. On the plus side, the money is nice.

I should mention it's actually worse when there's, y'know, no stock to put up. A side effect of that is I'm walking around aimlessly trying to find things to do (buggy collection go!)

Reminds me of Red Lobster when there was nothing to do, except I did nothing but eat those cheddar bisquits. Yum.

I don't think I could be a store clerk or stockboy. Really, don't have the people skills to do that nor the stregnth to deal with stock.

Either way I hate dealing with many dumb people...

Actually the stock isn't in hugeass heavy boxes or what-have-you. Each product is usually in a case, and the cases are generally very light to somewhat heavy.

That and it's moved around in the store on very large carts.

Except these aren't motorized carts, nor do they only have one shelf on them.

You think that matters? Carts don't have motors, either, but if you load them up heavily enough you can ride those bastards around

But then there are these smaller carts that are usually used to wheel around backstock in the store. Those might be far more suitable for riding around on (provided that someone can push it.)

Most people have these things called legs.

Receiving incoming transmission from The Captain...
Generally speaking, if it has wheels, it's more fun than walking.

Anyone with half a brain could do my job. Plus work's never totally boring... you hang out with people during breaks, you have times when no calls come in, there's always some unrelated drama (not necessarily about employees, sometimes with the system itself) going on...

Only drawback: no net access. As in they have virtually every site known to man blocked aside from any company-related stuff and two sites we need to use.

People with half a brain do my job. It's annoying at times, but doesn't usually affect me much, as long as they don't screw anything up horribly.

I had net access until they switched to WEP and used some password-protection dealie to block out everything except their own site. Not that I could use their computer to go online anyway - it faces the window and camera - but I could at least open the router's config page and see if I can get it to give up the key real quick so I could use it with my DS.

Maybe I'll just have to find the smallest wireless router I can and hide it somewhere. They almost never use the network, so cracking the key is out, but they do use it, so changing it is out too.
