So this is nothing official or anything, but I talked to cpu a bout doing a Christmas Radio... No clue if it'll get anywhere, but I'll see if I can at least get mine up at least once before the Holiday.

Getting one set up.
I'd do it if it weren't for the fact that I don't leave WinAMP open 24/7.

Christmas radio would be fun. :3
It would beat listening to my hour-and-a-half-long playlist of wintery video game music (and two actual Christmas songs) the whole time.

The most Christmas-themed things I have are Trans-Siberian Orchestra and a hardcore compilation that I really don't care about.

Just wondering, but does anyone listen to flat-out instrumental versions of Christmas songs, instead of the traditional? I've always liked it better.

My brother found some kind of chiptune Christmas music album (called 8-bit Jesus) and it was pretty awesome. We listened to it for hours. It eventually got annoying (only 9 tracks) and we turned it off.
Otherwise, no, I haven't really heard any instrumental Christmas songs before.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra does some.
Not to mention I have a song from Pump It Up that is Christmas themed.

 | I've always liked Loreena Mckennit's Christmas albums. Some instrumentals I've heard from Kenny G aren't bad either. I actually have a ton of christmas music on here. Some instrumental, some not, some classic, some modern. I just never got around to sorting through all of it. I tend to like instrumentals better, but I have found a few I like better in other languages. Now those are interesting and quite possibly my favorites such as Seacht Suailci Na Maighdine Muire, Un Flambeau, Jeanette, Isabelle and Noel Nouvelet.

I don't usually collect specific themed music collections, so my library of music is lacking in that department.
Then again I would say about 45% of my music is nothing but J-core. Well... not J-core as in one specific genre. It is a mixture of hardcore, speedcore, makina, hardstyle, trance, etc. Mostly instrumental but a few that focus on the vocals. Usually those are by some good artists like t+pazolite or REDALiCE, so they are nice and refreshing.
I've been getting into drum'n'bass a bit more though. Pendulum's In Silico (while being drum'n'bass and rock fusion) is one of my favorite albums now, right up there with Justice's Cross and nadeco's Un Encuentro. Sadly I don't own any of those as of right now.
I love how about two years ago I could care less about music and now I'm finding a whole lot I enjoy. Funny how that works.

My music library is probably 98% video game music. In fact, I've even gone and changed all the Genre categories listed on them from "Game" to the console the game the song comes from is on. Not to mention I have a dozen or so emulated music/stream collections. The remaining music that isn't from video games is either orchestrated or from movies.
Now that I think about it, I seem to have a fair amount of songs about pirates.

I have no game music in my library, so please fill me in. If I do, out of the blue, decide to get this genre, what do you recommend?

Uh... songs that you like from video games that you've played?
By the way, I just did a check, and it looks like the console genre with the highest amount of songs is Gamecube with 234, but that's only counting the mp3s. If you counted the streams, Wii probably has the most in my music, what with Super Mario Galaxy, Wario Land: Shake It!, Elebits, and Brawl.

Half my music is in languages I can't really understand (or partially do): Russian, French, Italian, Czech, Japanese, Chinese, Polish, Hungarian, Greek and quite a few others. The rest is English, Spanish and video game music.
And yes, I do know at least something of all of those languages (except for Chinese, never bothered). |

I have things from all over the world as well. Depending on the genre you probably wouldn't notice.

Every of us has a littlehuge ⑨ inside.
---------------------------- Most of the music I have is Kirby and Touhou...
There are very few awesome Kirby remixes... but not too many. As in, you don't have 8 groups doings albums for it... Which is quite a shame as many of the tracks prove to have awesome remixing potential. (Marx's theme. Why isn't there an U.N. owen remix of that)
