..At least when you're on a rider, heh.

I just mowed three front yards (we own all three of them) in about thirty minutes, half the time my mom expected it to take.

Who else likes to mow for some odd reason?

Only in a riding lawn mower. Last I got to do that was with a Dixon and that was a good six or seven years ago. Mowing a 5-acre lawn isn't bad to kill 4 hours in that thing, especially with a headset or CD player or something.

Mowing with a pushmower, as I used to do, is akin to being deafened, hit by flying dirt, rocks, and sticks, and also crashing into things and doing heavy manual lifting with your arms... not to mention fuelling it, oiling it, and everything.

It's just plain nasty. >.<

Again...riding lawn mower.

Not push.

Push sucks.

Mowing the lawn gives me some time to catch up on music I need to hear. It's sometimes hard to hear over the mower so I guess I'll need better head phones.

If you're looking in retail, get some KOSS UR-40s or a pair of Sony Fontopias.

They're around the 40-50 dollar mark depending on where you go.

I was actually looking into a gaming headset too. I heard this one was good. I also heard this one was good too and it's cheaper.

Well see that's using Plantronics and that's cheating.

You can't ever go wrong with that brand.

FACT: Blisters are NOT fun.

I think I have two, one on each hand.

Also, yeah, the title DOES look like it says meowing.

Receiving incoming transmission from The Captain...
My yard is pretty big; it takes almost 2 hours to mow on a riding mower. I don't mind that part, but there are a couple ridiculously low trees in my yard, so I have to mow under those with a push mower, which is a pain in the ass.

Or we could always go with Sennheiser if, of course, you've just won the lottery.

I CANNOT stand mowing. I have allergy problems so mowing is pretty much like jumping in to a garden of ragweed.

Join the club. Whenever I do it, I usually have to rest for a while (and shower immediately afterwards) or I experience a lot of agitation especially around the eyes/nose are... and I get horribly itchy all over

I've never had the joy of riding a rider, mostly because here there isn't, uh... grass. Only in parks and stuff, everywhere else is just dirt or concrete...

(Front yards here are far too small to be worth a rider)

I've got allergies too but I don't think they're nearly as severe as the ones I'd get around horse dander.

Benadryl works in a pinch.

We used to have a riding mower, even though our yard wasn't gigantic or anything. So yeah, it was awesome when I first started using it. But then it just got tedious.

But still way better than a push mower.
