Hm... hope that there's still a trickle of PS2 games by then. :\ Then again I'd be sure there'll be a new Madden for PS2 next year so there's hope.

I wouldn't be surprised if they push it til 2010 at this rate. There are still a lot of things lined up on the PS2's board.

But then again, this is exactly what happened on the PS1 --> PS2 transition. Sony milked the PS to death until they could no longer.

Oh, if you had the means and a way to play Japanese games on your PS2... You'd have quite the oddball collection, that's for sure.
