Some time around Halloween, I was coming home from school and listening to radio, when out of nowhere Christmas music started playing. It was odd because I've always know it to start playing near the end of November, but there were allot of early birds this year. And then some people had an entire house already and decorated. I don't really think do it early is good, because it ears out allot faster.

So, when do you prepare for X-Mas?

Truth be told I started preparing for it back in September...it's about how long I need to be to start saving and still come up good come the end of January, since I don't believe in credit if I can get away with it. Saved me so far.

Already got ideas in mind and I just keep throwing hints out to make sure. I don't have a sizable amount of people to see during the holidays but I definitely take the time and the effort to see someone.

It differs for me.

I usually start preparing a few weeks before Christmas, although there has been a year where we didn't prepare until just a few days before.

I saw Christmas lights out and turned on before Halloween.

What the fuck is that shit?!

Here, well... our outside lights are up. We'll probably have the tree up this coming weekend. If it was just me, maybe I'd put a wreath up at the last second to deter unwarranted questions, but that's about all.

My house never gets decorated...

Basically, we need a tree and presents to be considered prepared.

I need to save some money for Christmas presents for people.

That was supposed to be disturbing. (For Halloween.) Based on your reaction, I'd say it worked.

And I just plain need money. Having enough for presents would be nice.

We start when it feels like we should start. At least make the food ready

Besides, it doesn't take more than one day.

Well, our Christmas tree has been up all year (long story, it's actually been left up for a reason other than Christmas this year), and if we put up any christmas lights at all, we try to do it while its still warm out but after halloween. Unfortunately it seems like every day after Halloween has been officially winter, and we've been very busy these past few months, so they're still not up yet and I'm not sure we're putting them up at all. Right now I'm just trying to get everything for thankgiving ready since I didn't even think about it until a few days ago.

I'll be using one my family had bought years ago. I'm surprised that we still have it.

At least it's in working condition and wont fall......

I don't prepare for Christmas at all.

My family, on the other hand, put up the Christmas tree yesterday and was watching Christmas cartoons before Halloween...
