William closed his eyes and waited until everyone was ready to proceed.

Something felt... odd... as if he felt himself feel limited as to what he could do. Sure, he was a powerful contender when it came to the Sim Battle Arena, but here... he felt like he was being cursed, forced to become weaker.

However William figured that was just him feeling odd in the tower for the first time and being a bit curious as to the contents. He wouldn't know the full effects until he started fighting things... if things changed at all.

In this game, there really is no concept of range, as far as attacks and movement are concerned. Attack spells can be cast on an enemy anywhere on the floor from any square, and support spells can be cast on a team member anywhere in the same manner. Physically attacking an enemy will move your marker to the square that the enemy is on, but that's really mostly cosmetic.

There isn't an area of effect for spells either, really...level 1 skills will always be used on a single target (except for Megaton Punch, which targets all foes on the floor). As skills level up, they'll gain extra abilities, one of which is the ability to be used on multiple targets. For example, Lv.2 Fire will still allow only a single target, but Lv.3 Fire can be used on two targets at once, and Lv.4 Fire targets all enemies/allies on the floor.

All skills, including Braveheart/Shield, will only be usable once per turn and will take your full turn when used (which I believe I said in the frst post).

I also slightly edited Chapter 3 in the first post to mention SkP (Skill Points).
