Yeah, it's almost over for them I fear. :\ They'd BETTER hope that MK vs. DC sells like hotcakes.

Plus they don't exactly have that many assets... There'd be a huge bidding war for the MK franchise, and someone would take a package of classic arcade games, but aside from that?

That one was a weird three-way co-op (Rare, Midway, Nintendo). I know Rare and Midway were responsible for the software and hardware, respectively, but what was Nintendo's role? Publisher?

Well the original was made right around the time that the N64 was reigning...I think they made it to where they could port it to said N64 easily enough...but I might be wrong. Every time it'd come up it'd go 'Coming in blah blah blah - Only for the Nintendo...ULTRA 64!!'.

So probably SOME engine dev.
