Eh...it's only a matter of time before technology gets to the point where women are obsoleted entirely...then theses things will be far more common.

Then we're going to have a Chobits situation on our hands.

I don't like to refer to animé/manga when it comes to this kind of stuff...but it's actually pretty damned accurate of a description as to what could happen if it was allowed to go that far...and with the way things are going, I would bet I'm not too far off of being right in about fifty years.

Umm... Last I checked, Second Life was entirely populated by real people. Not AIs. Meaning, pretty much, it's one step up (down?) from RP chatrooms.

I try to refrain from value judgments of people like this. God knows I have my own issues dealing with people; I can almost sympathize with someone seeking a relationship that way.
