Hi,
Before taking any decision about me or the thread, please read below.
Can the NSMB E3 beta ROM be downloaded ? I don't ask for a link ! I just want to know if it can be downloaded. I don't ask where. I don't ask for a link.

As far as I'm aware, no ROM of it has been dumped.
There are Kiosk demos of several other games, but no luck with NSMB. |

Damn ! We'll have to make a disassembler and hack the game to re-implement the simultaneous multi-player. It seems so fun in the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cnZB7O-3Jg) ! Why did Nintendo remove this ? Since I've seen the video for the first time, my only dream is to re-implement this !
Maybe all the beta stuff is somewhere in the ROM. Why would Nintendo leave 5 beta levels if they wanted to delete all the beta stuff ? Plus 2 of these levels are from the E3 beta.
It seems that the graphics are slightly different in the beta. Also, there are 3 power-up spots, there is no star coin, the blue rings are checkpoints, the end flag is different (red, no skull, facing right, the bottom of it is a block), Goombas become giant when they get a mushroom and Mega Mario (the one of the game, not me :p) can punch and kick (but he stops when he performs these moves). But the most important is that this game has a multi-player mode that is a race between Mario and Luigi and it seems very damn fun.
Hope together we'll be able to re-implement this mode.
