| So... Left 4 Dead is coming out in a week and the demo was released today. I played a couple of rounds and have to say it is good fun. I have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for this game to come out and this demo has renewed my anticipation. Even though my computer barely meets the system requirements, it runs the game pretty smoothly even with hordes of zombies suddenly popping out from around the corner to chew your face off. It's really awesome. Anyone else excited? |

I know a few people are excited for this game.
I'd get it if my computer was up to par or if I had a 360 to at least play it.

 |  | Played for half an hour last night.
Looked pretty awesome, but I had some trouble with freezing. 
I'll probably try again today, my dad was downloading a game last night.
Everything looks really pretty when the graphics are maxed out.

Part 1 didn't seem too short, but we were taking it slow.

You know, I was always saying "Yeah, I'm being forced to get this game". Now that I played the demo, I've decided that I really do want this game. I was worried that I'd feel constant fear like I would in the old Resident Evil games, but with all the fast pace hijinx, I just didn't have time for that fear. Of course, the fact that I had other people there (referring to both in-game characters and actual human players) and unlimited pistol ammo kinda took that fear away.
I suppose I shouldn't call it fear. More like.. unbearable anxiety or something.
And I could definitely tell this is a game made by Valve, with the way the title screen is handled, and how the facial animations in the cutscenes look.
Those freakin' Hunters. They've created so many classic horror movie moments, where all is quiet, and suddenly someone just disappears.

| Yea. Also, smokers. I often find myself standing around the person getting strangled to get a nice shot(often have the shotgun equipped so I don't wanna shoot the victim by accident). |
