The BMS events are incredible and show that fan created things can be extremely well done.

Quark and Pure Ruby for instance. A lot better than even official IIDX songs in terms of quality.

Good luck playing one of them though. Each sim alone is about 60-70 megabytes if they include BGAs (which use BMPs for each animation frame) and are keysounded.

The ultimate reason why Windows is better than OSX: It has MSPaint.
For all the revolutionary engineering (and in-house software) that apple does, why doesn't the default installation of OSX comes with a simple painting program?

Believe it or not that is a beatmania IIDX simulator. I have no idea which one (there are quite a few out there).

That is also a fan-made sim, fan-made meaning professional artists and musicians making free sims for the simulators. In fact it is pretty much a competition they have every now and then.

Apparently that BGA takes after Yume Nikki.
