Brutal Mario (currently at Demo 7?) is very fun and the ASM hacks are impressive. I haven't played any other SMW hack from beggining to end, this was the only that got me hooked all the time. Don't miss it.

Hmm, has this one been done for awhile? That or I do remember playing some of FPI's works.

Anyways thanks for the rec's guys, definitely going to check them out.

Edit: Hmm, Second Reality Project Reloaded doesn't seem to work very well with the rom I have (U) or maybe it's ZSNES? I usually use 1.42. The game seems to freeze at the first Mole level, it'll just stay there on the Mario Start screen.

Play Stranded. It is by far the best SMW hack I've ever played, and I've played a lot.

Yeah, TSRPR doesn't work with 1.42. The only way to solve it is to have a copy of a older or newer version of ZSNES to get around that. I believe it said this in the readme.

Anyway, I also recommend playing this hack. Full-length hacks with good quality are very hard to come by these days. This hack has 117 exits so it should keep occupied for awhile. Not to mention it also has an awesome soundtrack with excellent songs such as Acoustic Castle.

Most of the songs are completely original along with some ported music from other video games.

Also, you shouldn't worry about the difficulty about the hack. I say it is pretty reasonable. Levels start out easy and gradually get harder like in most games. There is also a 1-UP factory in one of the later levels in case you struggle with some of the more harder levels towards the very end of the hack.

Surely, it is one of the oldest hacks, but I still find it one of the best. Stranded is another one.

Haha, probably. I unzipped a bunch of these in one folder and had a handful of readme's that I looked through, guess I missed it.

, It does work perfectly in 1.50 and I'm totally loving the hack. The new graphics and music are great.

The others I've tried out are really fun too, especially Keytastrophe. The music in that one is pretty awesome.

I'll definitely look into Demo World and Stranded.
