If you don't want that many sims at first, at least get 6th Mix -MAX- Arcade, 7th Mix -MAX2- Arcade, and 8th Mix -Extreme- Arcade. Those have the songs that many people like altogether, really. Also a nice place to start.

Then later you'll want to catch up on our sims we've done. Lots of variety there. Plus video game songs.

Simplicity v1.1
Actually, 6-8 is a pretty harsh way to start. 1st and 2nd mix are good starts. Around 3rd mix, it starts getting overkill for some.

With song selection those are best. Yeah, 1st and 2nd are good, but it isn't as many songs as those other ones, and a lot of songs means many to try and improve on. =\

Also, you can have both 3.9 and 4.0 and have them share song files. Its a lot better to do, really. =\

I dunno if you can get away with it, but I just say go with just a new account, actually. You literally get nothing unless you are a contributor to the forums and upload sims. If you just browse, nobody touches you.

I remember that IRC set up a lol account.

Not sure if that's also the name/pass.

It works over multi-IP no problem. They aren't really tight in terms of security. Xkeep could probably level the place in a few hours if he wanted (or faster). They don't have that bright or technical a staff over there to begin with...

Ironically I think most of the good beginner simfiles are the official ones.

If only because with the official ones they were meant for pads and therefore much easier, unlike this "it's got 1857 notes in a 3 minute period on beginner" shit
