I never was a huge fan of the series. Should I be? I kind of liked the first GBA one, eventually beating it (Eventually means that it took me 5 years).

Never knew a blob would be in the game it's in, and I don't like the early games in the series that the pirate is from. I even cheated by looking at a sprite site, and I never looked in the Konami section. DX

I would have to agree. Although maybe people never took the alternate path after the first stage because they were too lazy
