So I had a customer in the store today asking how the midnight went for Guitar Hero. We only had about 7 people show up and their response, "oh it has to be the economy". Then they buy a $200 Guitar Hero bundle.

Anyone see the irony here?

I've heard of 99.9¢/L around here (first time under $1/L since February 2007), but it's still at 103.4 here ... right around $3 US/gallon (with the canadian dollar down to 77¢), but it's likely to drop again at this rate


The whole 34.9¢/gallon thing reminds me of a price war a few gas stations had over 10 years ago, where the price went down to 19.9¢/L (normally 45-55 at the time) and huge waiting lines came up ... but even that wasn't quite as cheap and couldn't be considered stealing

Filled up yesterday from half-tank to full for 23 bucks.

Lot better than doing the same for about 35-40.

91.4¢/L here now, still just under $3 US/gallon, and still higher than last year's low (around 85¢ I think), but a nice drop anyway
