Why am I expecting you all to say Card Captor Sakura? I never really liked it anyway 
The animes I enjoyed most were Nadescio, Dirty Pair Flash, Ghost in The Shell (including the movies) and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. Nadescio was just awesome with the whole fighting aliens in it, Dirty Pair Flash was also awesome but because of the big boobs Kei had the storyline, tyeah. 
Suzumiya Haruhi... Well, you should know why it is a good anime. Even though it was short, it was still a pretty good because of all the random things going on in it, and it made you wonder what the fuck was happening cause of the order of the episodes.
Ghost in The Shell was good because it had a complex storyline and it wasn't an anime just to provide fanservice.
I'd add Sumomomo momomo, but my brother deleted it after he found out it was rated as a hentai after episode 17, and I only saw up to episode 4

First of Sumomomo momomo isn't hentai. And also not that good.
But my favorites are... Card captor sakura (Duh), GaoGaiGar (More duh), Lucky star (I'm so weeaboo), Mahoromatic (Probably absolute best one ever) and Genshiken.
Probably tons i missed but these are the ones that comes to mind. |

Well, Nadesico and Outlaw Star I like. I own Outlaw Star and watch Nadesico when my brother had it. They are good to watch.
Then again, I've not watched that much anime. Recently I've been trying to find and watch both Card Captor Sakura and Haruhi, but to no avail.

I've heard a lot of good things about Azumanga Daioh, but haven't seen it yet. Is it really that good?

It's not that bad of an anime, but people get turned off it because of how weird it can be at times (see : opening theme) and it's lesbianism.

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: I only got the idea of even looking at it because Colin consistently raved about it. For once he was actually on the money for taste.

My favorite anime, to date, has been Death note. I just like everything about it, and found VERY few mistakes or flaws with it.

If ANYONE fucking says Pokemon I will slit their throat.

Anyways, the only real anime I've ever seen is Inuyasha and I have absolutely no chance to ever see any more of it.

I will admit Pokémon was good back then but now it's nothing but everyone losing 100 IQ every episode.
