Um, excuse the new topic being on a subject I've covered earlier, but at this point I'm kinda getting a bit antsy over something.

Namely, a Yahoo Japan Auction.

http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e85419227

One for this game:

http://www.jupiter.co.jp/e/product/game/other/tamori.html

As far as I know, it's ROM is undumped, and the cart is going for over 11,000 yen already (that's 110 dollars according to my currency convertor.)

I assume no one here is made of money, but I've been going to various places to make appeals to get this ROM dumped and publically available.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Considering the price is getting high... chances are it's some collector who will get it for themselves. =/

I mean, someone wiling to share it wouldn't pay much. And if they end up buying it that high, they probably would ask themselves if they really want it dumped...

Then again, the higher the price goes, the less likely it will be dumped, so trying to "fight for it" isn't a good idea...

I would of course argue that due to the Satellaview's very nature (Games literally designed to expire after a set amount of uses unless ROM-dumped, on top of the easy of possible ROM corruption compared to other SNES games), it would NOT be a good idea to hoard without a ROM backup. Then again, if I went to Nintendo with that, they'd probably say "That's the idea, sonny."

In all fairness, compared with other potentially collectible carts, this isn't -too- high yet... mff.

Well, it's not like it's Kirby's Toy Box...

The game itself looks interesting, but is it even actually playable? I mean, the puzzles were broadcasted... Unless it's extensivelly hacked to have them, it'd be simply useless...

So maybe the bidder will dump it and try to hack it. I don't see why else would he want a game he can't play...

"Broadcasted" games were actually downloaded into the BS-X memory pack for what seems to be the majority of the time. More than likely this cart will have the game data for what "puzzle" was played during that week. Since it looks like it was downloaded and could be played outside it's broadcast time, it may also have a title screen and some menus. It may or may not have music or sound, but that depends. BSNES will likely be able to run it, since it displays on the BIOS menu in that manner.

BTW, on the note of the BS Kirby's Toy Box games, there's an interesting link I got...
