I'm surprised #x isn't more active, really.

Suprised? It hasn't been active in a while!

Yes, but I thought there was still some activity going on in there.

Guess I was wrong, then.

I dunno WHY there isn't activity though.

It's surprising... more surprising is that #super-x beats #Nesvideos. Moreso when you consider the huge user gap. #nesvideos has 80+, #super-x has what, 20?

Well, #super-x is mostly made up of people who know each other very well, so it isn't really that surprising. (A group of close friends talk a lot more than a group of people who kinda know each other, even if there are a few close friends in the second group) This applies to both #super-x compared to #nesvideos and #super-x compared to #x.

The 80 to 25 user gap is still odd, though. Large groups tend to be a lot more active than small groups in most situations...

Yeah, Xk is good with making graphs and stuff like that, both relevant and not.

Half of #x is in #super-x and the other half are in channels that share the same users.

We ALL should know each other by now. If not, oh well. Just talk anyway.

It is only in #x where I see this lack of activity besides one other IRC channel I go to where it is dead as hell, and that is due to less users (as in 6 others). #x shouldn't have this problem but it does. Anyone care to explain why they don't talk there? Just curious.

I like IRC, just that #x is never active when I'm there so I stopped going.

Which is why IRC is sometimes referred to as "Idle Relay Chat"

Hm, I bet the #super-x is getting common input from people who are in both it and #x. Those people, if they instead place their initial commenting in #x instead of #super-x, the count for both channels would be a lot closer to each other. Of course, this is just opinion from someone without a grasp of power and a slight mental handicap.

#super-x is honestly just #x with different people (usually). If #x gets active, it isn't exactly uncommon to have most of #super-x talking there instead.

(I was rather surprised when this happened recently)

I was kind of expecting something along the lines of a flatline.

Just curious, does this discount bots?

Tina's own output is not counted, but any other bots are.

No, it's constantly counting for the day October 12. It will slowly rise over the next 24-ish hours...as well as everything else. Is that right?

No, a new day just occured. Unless you mean something else, that is.

It starts new days at an odd hour.
