I have used the CD player on the car when I come home from school. It one of the only times I hear music away from the computer (not even an MP3 player  ). |

I never had a CD player. In fact, I never had any audio CDs either 
As for portable devices, I've been using my (t)rusty 245MiB MP3 player since 2004, and am still using it today  |

| I'm still building my CD collection, though I will admit that all of my music is ripped into my computers (for convenience only, mind you). I still listen to CDs from my 51 disc changer, though. I'm about 3 discs away from having the thing filled up, too. I also listen almost exclusively to CDs in my car, though that's only because I don't know of the radio station that will play some of Meat Loaf's more obscure titles.
But yeah, I highly doubt I'll ever move on to portable digital media. MP3 Players and iPods are way too expensive for me... ____________________  |

On the other hand I currently have no CD player, as the constant changing of disks along with stuttering, if you are running outside for example, can be annoying at times. |

It's nice to have the disks my music came from (oh so shiny), but they tend to cost money.
