Why can't they stick to making things original?

| Well I mean original thoughts are what we have good film makers for.* We got studio guys to take care of all the really shitty stuff. Hollywood is on a current trend of being afraid of good film makers, because all the good ones currently are some of the most influential and generally don't like the studios. But I mean studios don't really care about the artform, they're a business first.
Guitar Hero = $$$ in the VG industry = GH Movie = $$$ in the film industry That's the thought process of a studio film maker. That's how it's always been, and weird enough it's usually been wrong. There's a reason B Movies of the old days are the ones that are still remembered today. *See the Cohen Brothers **EDIT** Edited out the Ratner jab, I misread it like an idiot. |
