Actually, you're probably right. The moods of many staff members here seem quite volatile at times. It makes for great fun, though. I just have a hard time working my way into conversations when these things happen. Oh well, maybe I oughta try a little harder myself...

I guess I'm just glad I registered after the post count reset! X3
Although, just so all the people who don't know SQL (probably few), "UPDATE `users` SET `posts` = (SELECT COUNT(*) FROM `posts` WHERE `posts`.`user` = `users`.`id`)" would fix it in a few seconds, should Xkeeper get bored and want everyone's post counts back. |

Actually, that wouldn't work (entirely) -- posts that deleted are canonically included in the overall count (like I actually have about 10 posts less than my counter says). That would reset them back to normal, making people occasinally re-do several posts (awkward, to say the least)
I just stored the original value in another field and overwrote them when done. It seems to have worked.
