Man, you know jack shit. Just because something is out in Japan does not equate it to necessarily coming to the US. There is an actual process called localization that is required to do such a thing. :\

Anyways, for the uniformed, we were here not too long ago - the rumor mill was moving when KH2 originally came out that Final Mix+ was supposed to go stateside. It never did. This included KH Re:CoM, of course. Now that the rumors are going again, I would wonder if it's going to work this time around or if it's just going to be another false rumor like last time.

Well, many things DO hit the states. It's not like it's a rumored game with no information.

I probably should have worded that better. Posting before 6:00 AM = bad.

Revise: The GBA version and the PS2 version are out in Japan, and the GBA one did good over here, so a PS2 release in America sounds very plausible.

Looks like it was all but confirmed at the GameStop thingy, but no Final Mix.

Releasing this at this point of the PS2's lifespan is very odd, though.

Not really.

What happened with PSX/PS2 during that era? Same thing. Sony always milks their previous console for its life's worth before finally going 'hey, we need to move on'.

Hell, we've got a lot of games still on the board that I want to get when February '09 rolls around... (KOF 98 UM, admittedly).

Chain of Memories = yes for Ps2 Not sure when and there was no mention of Final Mix when they were talking about CoM during my class. Now, these vendors have to talk to about 4,000 of us, 28 times over two days, so something could have slipped, but I do know that CoM will be coming to the Ps2. ____________________ {{Backlog\|\|MySpace}}

People will buy it anyways, you know that.

But it would still suck not releasing the game otherwise. They didn't get all the talent for Re:CoM just to piss away FM+ which would, theoretically, require FAR LESS work to get ported over.

I was going to take it home yesterday to try it, but, I don't know, I changed my mind. Not one for card based battles and my Ps2 isn't hooked up yet. I like what they did with the cover/box art of the game. Very nice. ____________________ [ MySpace ] [ Trinity Element]

It is severely broken really. Get high level cards and you can hardly get hit.

I don't think I could stand playing the game a third time. It was basically mashing the A button on the DS with high level cards and restocking after curing.
