Just curious on what people are mostly using.

I use 1680 x 1050 on my main computer and 1024 x 768 on the computer I have Windows 98 on that's basically internet and old games.

I can't think of anything to write here.

Just a 1280x1024; 32-bit

Meh, I run everything in full screen anyways.

1920x1200 + 1280x1024 (on a 27" and 19")

It's quite nice for multitasking (I never maximize anything on the 27" except for fullscreen), although I guess some people would rather waste this space with very large windows, huge icons or stretched non-wide resolutions

For me, it's 1280x800. I normally run most things in full screen though, except when I'm trying to do a bunch of things at once (like having a text file open while browsing the internet, which actually happens to me more than one would think).

1920x1080x32bit@60Hz on 32". I keep most stuff minimised.

I also use 1280x1024x32bit@60hz on 19" on the old computer, but I plan on connecting my old 1680x1050 22" monitor to it.

Both comps are using 1024x768. This one's capable of 1280x1024, and I could obviously go 2560x1024 (dual monitor), but I don't quite think my system's really capable of THAT much...

1400x900, currently... It was the default resolution on the laptop, and I got used to it, so now anything else looks too big.

1280x1024, 32bit color depth. I use a compact version of Firefox Strata, and my Windows theme is very compact as well.

Sadly, I'm still on 800x600, due to using a semi-old CRT. I'd have to bump the monitor DPI to 120 (large) in order for 1024x768 to not appear ridiculously small. However, at 120 DPI, the system tray icons become all grainy, and icons are spread too far apart for my liking.

In short, stuck on 800x600 due to monitor limitations, and eye strain from higher levels.

So it seems more people use the good old 1024 x 768

Well, it is pretty standard.

1280x1024

After I updated my drivers I was able to do that and I just stuck with it because it is better.

1024x768. Can't go higher, and don't have any need to anyway.

My home PC has good old 1024x768, while my Mac lappy has 1440x900. I'd normally complain that 1440x900 is too big, but Macs have the nifty feature of zooming in on the cursor at will to make up for it.

My PC here uses 1280x1024x32@75 on a 17-inch LCD. It is great.

My hacked-up eMac uses 1280x1024@75 when it's running a GUI, and 1280x960@72 when it isn't.
