This is an awesome song. Why I dunno. Could be the guitar, vocals, or just the fact that sometimes I hear a song and just love it for no particular reason.

Freshly ripped from Battle Bakraid (Eighting arcade shooter), thanks to the efforts of myself, Drag, and Xkeeper. The game uses a funky nybble-swapped 4-bit ADPCM format that didn't want to die. I realize there's an OST, but the Internet is a sea of dead links and registration/subscription-only pages in scary foreign languages. Besides, ripping this straight from an uncooperative ROM set was much more satisfying!

Unfortunately, since all the tracks are stored as a long, back-to-back sequence of intro and loop pieces, they have to be reassembled manually in a wave editor, often at the sample level to avoid pops or skips between the pieces. It's an excruciatingly slow process, but the end result is worth it.
