As for me, Chrono Trigger's 600AD theme ("Longing of the Wind"). It's fairly calm and not that annoying to listen to on endless loop... Oh, and I had it playing all night when Melv was over once. (Needless to say that was the last time I listened to it for a while )

Ruined World is also good.

Northern Kings is awesome! Basically the lead singers of a bunch of epic goth power metal bands from finland (including Marco from Nightwish, which has become my favorite band ever) got together and decided to make an album of 80s covers. Interesting mix to say the least! I think "don't stop believing" is my favorite song on there, either that or "broken wings". Odd considering I hate the original "broken wings" song.

Anyway, I'm currently listening to Switchblade Symphony. Specifically their 1st and best album, "The Serpentine Gallery". It's basically classic goth music at it's eerie finest. Dark, wicked, awesome imagery, yet not too depressing like some of their other albums are. In fact, this seems to be one of the albums that defines the goth music genre. One song reminds me of the ghetto west side that I live in.

Marisa Stole the Precious Thing is one of IOSYS's greatest songs and it got a 2 CD remix project and at the same time was awesome from start to finish. Anything IOSYS does is generally ok but their J-core-like songs are by far the best. Border of extacy, Marisa Stole the Precious Thing, Overdrive. They know what they are doing with those kinds of songs and they should continue doing songs like that. The only complaint I've heard people say with Marisa Stole the Precious thing is that loud drilling loop at the end, but I have no qualms with it. That could be because I like speedcore but...

On that note, I'm listened to the latest IOSYS album. EP linked it to me and I listened to it fully (first time I did that to an IOSYS album). Track 10 is the best IMO, but there are a lot more remixes of previous IOSYS songs on the whole album, which I dunno if that is good or not. A fine album I guess.
