Basically, someone emotionlessly stabbed a younger man repeatedly, then cut the corpse's head off, displaying it to passengers on a bus from Canada.
The man tried to drive the bus away once the passengers were scared off, but the driver disabled it and he got booked in.

Do you really, really think that someone being stabbed from behind, in a location he assumes is safe is not only going to be lucky enough to avoid serious injury on the first stab (and second, and third...), but react calmly enough to swivel around (without being torn by the knife), kick him from a very awkward position, and then kick away the knife, and then be able to dominate the man despite having some very deep, very large wounds?
I'm sorry, but not even someone who has studied self-defense for a whole lifetime would be able to recover from a sudden stab from a deranged psychopath on a bus.
Anyways, I think this guy should be thrown in a dark, damp and cold dungeon for the remainder of his life. He is hopeless.

I'da went 'shoot the motherfucker'. If we can't shoot him then 'RUN from the motherfucker'. If a guy's cutting off someone's head and displaying it like theater then the man's not right and will most certainly be playing it as NOT a gentlemanly duel of getting something kicked away from him. He will be ridiculously pumped on adrenaline and go through stuff slashing and screaming until there's not a soul left...
If the guy couldn't do anything then we has likely stabbed straight in the back, towards the lung. You get there, it's checkmate pretty much. You aren't doing anything. There are other vitals too but a stab is a stab. Not something you're going to be mentally prepared for. I don't know why you would be unless you were as deranged as the guy who stabbed you was. You'd have to be alert constantly for that stuff. Even IF you were trained that's ludicrous thinking that every waking moment, someone's gonna stab you...even when picking your nose.
