Only 329 dollars...

Another gOS system. I've not been hearing too many bad things about them for what they do for the average joe.

Sylvania makes computers? And all this time I thought they were just a lightbulb company...

It's interesting I guess, I can see situations where it might be nice to have, but I'll stick with my current laptop

Not too bad, but why bother when you can just save a little more and get a real laptop?

They're a general electronics company, actually. I have a TV from them (cheap). Then again, most minds are blown when people hear that Mitsubishi makes home A/Cs.

EDIT: X, because people want cheap alternatives to everything and at the same time the average Joe doesn't want all the bells and whistles that come with most PCs because it confuses the hell out of them. My father's a good case of this (I put Xunbuntu on his old comp because he doesn't need a lot of crap).

Well if you don't need to do much with it, then I suppose it's not too bad. Otherwise, the specs are seriously lacking (only 30GB HD? 1.2GHz? wow...)

I don't think many people will do much with it. It's handy for portability, but that's it.

What's odd is that it's only a little less powerful than the laptop I'm using ...

This sounds like the perfect thing for students to take with them to class to take notes with. Lightweight and highly portable, it seems to be the perfect solution for classroom note-taking.

Not to mention that's almost an affordable price tag...

My first 386 PC was a Mitsubishi (or at least came in a Mitsubishi case). A friend of mine also has a Mitsubishi TV that puts off the loudest, most annoying high-pitched whine I have ever heard.

Apparently, Mitsubishi is comprised of a number of different companies under the same name, so it makes sense...
