Well this should be interesting at least. I can put the USB keyboard into this thing and it works. However, putting this together with a TV that is only 17" and only shows in 480i makes it a royal freakin' pain in the ass to type and view any website. 640x480 died for a freakin' reason. I need a high-def TV. You guys should give me many monies to do this. I have PayPal. You will give.

ALT+Enter to line break? That sucks.

Okay, well I took a shot with the TV-out box. Unfortunately, I can't get on the internet on my actual comp because I don't have a hub or a router to take advantage of another piece of technology that has the capability of getting on the internet at somewhat decent speeds.

I will say this looks like shit though. Maybe if I had 1080p it wouldn't...then again if that was the case maybe I wouldn't be able to view it.

For now, anyways, yea. If I get to the point where this actually has a use and maybe even Linux on it, that might prove to be a different story. This would prove especially different if I had a wireless router (probably a Wireless-N) hooked up from my room out to the living room and this was hooked to a big screen. I'd be in trouble because I wouldn't know which system to use.

Well, probably not but hey it means that my net would be more versatile.

Even 480i looks quite a bit better when you can use component video instead of composite:


But I don't know how well my 27" LCD (computer screen, not even a TV) would handle 1080p input, and it's all I can use component on

My screen can manage up to 1080i; it's a fakeo 1366 x 768 pixel monitor, but it can do a good job of scaling (I think).

I think this this new one I have is 720p/1080i but I don't have it hooked up as such nor do I have a way of connecting DVI into this thing. Seems it only supports HDMI, component and composite natively. I'd have to have an HDMI to DVI convertor.
