Sony conference in a nutshell:

The dude got boo'd at the beginning.

80 GB price drop to $400, no new on 40 GB price.

MAG: Massive Action Game. 256 player MMOFPS. Squad based and there seems to be some form of chain of command.

New Ratchet and Clank game coming soon.

Also... They're still milking the PS2 for what it's worth with sports and FPS games.

Some other things I forgot to mention:

PSN will have single login so you can access your crap from other PS3s. In other words... They ripped off steam... (not that the idea was copyrighted or anything...)

Also video rental/buying service. Pay to download movies to your PS3, and if you're desperate enough to watch it on the go, you can put it on your PSP. (Watch Microsoft allow you to transfer your netflix stuff to your zune...)

That would be freaking awesome.

Looks like Sony is trying to do the whole movie rental thing to counter XB360's Netfix tie-in. hey, maybe Sony will get Blockbuster to back 'em up......doubtful tho.

More news on the new 80GB PS3. It seems that we'll need to keep track of YET ANOTHER DAMN PS3 system! . . .

As I said before, Sony is still milking the PS2 for what it's worth. One of the things they'll be doing is releasing another PS2+game bundle. This one's a bit different though, considering it also comes with a DVD movie.Sony bring you the PS2 "Family Value Pack."

New $200 PSP bundle announced.

Sony was considering PSPs with Hard Drives.

Well the simplest argument I can make is that they're a business. The game would be a complete failure in the US if it was PS3 only. IT makes perfect sense to port to 360 since it would allow many others to access it, in turn, allowing the company to make more money.
