One of my computers, for some reason, won't output any video. I've tried multiple video cards (and multiple PSUs). The computer worked fine less than a month ago... so I don't see why there's a problem now. Nothing has changed... except it inexplicably won't work.
Does anyone know of any possible reason it would do this? The computer powers on fine, just no video. I don't know what part(s) to replace .

Have you tried switching between AGP/PCI-E and PCI? If even the PCI video card doesn't work, then it is probably the motherboard itself? Maybe you can try to clear the CMOS ram to have it reset to default?

I'm betting that video port on the mobo or something in or around that is about to say goodbye or has.

I'd probably second mobo issues.

Well then I guess I'm screwed, because I definitely do not have the money for any more parts right now.
I'll try some PCI vcards and see if those work; I think I have a few old ones lying around. I don't need high quality video for this comp...

Have you tried more than one monitor? Is it just not getting sync at all?

I'd wonder if clearing CMOS by jumper, like neo said, would help. Some RADEON cards can go south and really mess up a system because they don't default back to the onboard video (if you have this).

Otherwise, definitely a motherboard issue for video. :\

Btw, the vcard in it (now and before) is a 3dfx card.
