It wasn't "forced", provoked... all I did later on was add the syndrome-bar too

It's somewhat the opposite of what most boards aim for. Instead of hundreds of largely idle users, this one has a small dedicated base.

Yeah, and making use of del.php to clean out the incative users every few months (inactive for 3 months with few (less than 1-2) posts) would fix that feeling too...

I kind of like the idea of having a smaller, well-known userbase overall, simply because you know everyone rather well and most people can get along

Probably best to have less users.

Gaia is no fun to be on more due to the fact that you don't recognize anyone than the fact that 99% of the userbase are under 80 in IQ.

It was spontaneous and not spammy (until the later half of it at least). Most sprees usually end up being a lot of spam in one thread just to increase postcount for the hell of it and it is usually planned.

Well, yeah, our post count for the past 24 hours is going down now, but... eh, I still see a lot of fun discussion going on. I like it.

I found it much harder to reply when th eboard was having the spree than the later part of the spree. I guess I can post more when the board isn't so crazy.

I've seen many come and go, but this was the first one I actually had fun being in. The others, I felt like "Oh God the idiots have escaped their chains!!! Ahhhhh!!!!" and sort of went silent.

This spree had its ups and downs, but at least I felt at home replying to it.
