I don't have a printer here, so I write in cursive— one that no one can understand, for some reason, even when I do it just like I was taught at school.

I print. I don't know cursive so much beyond my signature but I can usually do OK reading it sometimes.

I type whenever possible

I had to write cursive in elementary school, and was ordered to go back to print after a few essays My writing has only gotten worse since then (I've lost all cursive ability- my signature is essentially a scribbly line)

At my school all of the teachers usually want you to write cursive because they say that it is faster and easier to read. When ever I'm not writing something school related I always print. The problem is that since what I am writing is not very important I always tend to write really fast and it comes out as a mess that only I can understand

Why couldn't my school ever do that!? After everyone learned cursive they complained all the way up to their Senior year of high school if they ever had to write in cursive. We learned it in the third grade (me second due to boredom in the classroom).

While we were told in middle school we would have to write in cursive all the time, we didn't because the teachers felt sympathy for the students. Then again the students sucked up big time to avoid writing in cursive in the first place...

I was forced to learn cursive too fast.

My teacher must have regretted it for the rest of my middle school experience. Pages and pages of gibberish that were hardly legible.

Ha ha ha ha.

I had to learn cursive in third grade.

It may have made my writing easier to read for the teacher, but I sometimes couldn't read what I wrote at all .

I had to continue writing in cursive for the rest of the year, but once I was in fourth grade, I stopped writing like that and eventually forgot how to write in cursive.

I write in an odd mix of cursive and print.

My handwriting definitely depends on my mood, though. It changes all the time. o.O. Sometimes it's more cursive, sometimes more print, sometimes tiny and spiky, sometimes big and loopy.. etc. *shrug*

My fiance usually gets me to write down anything important, because even he can't read his writing sometimes. This amuses me.
