Update: Capcom pinged us to let us know that the game is currently slated "for WiiWare only" and that the information indicating otherwise in the E3 roster was a mistake on its part.

And second, Mega Man 9 will also release for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network respectively. No, it's not a WiiWare exclusive, but nevertheless, it's going to make an excellent addition to the libraries of all three consoles.

Changed their minds, eh?

Call me crazy, but I think IGN is just being stupid and hasn't heard yet, or something similar. I don't really trust them all that much.

The trailer from the IGN article Xk linked to is pure bliss. And yes it does say for Xbox live and PSN at the end of it. Still brutally awesome nonetheless especially the music.

Trailer looks awesome. Just as long as the difficulty's not over the top, because a few of those areas looked a little scary.

MM1 and MM2 on Virtual Console as well. Europe's had those games for a long time, surprisingly.

Tomfoolery! Who in their right mind can claim that the European box art for Mega Man 2 is not the best there ever was?

You would be right. When you run past one of the fuzzy screens, he pops out and chases you down. He can jump, but I haven't seen him shoot. He just runs in to you.
