Hi Kattwah! It's been a while since you've asked for an update on the status of this venture, so I thought I'd send you my latest notes. Granted, I haven't been able to keep as close of an eye on this group, but this should still be reasonably up-to-date...

Tanks found a whole lot of nothing on square 1...

Tina ran into a Cheap Cheap on square 16, and she suffered 3 damage due to a Dash attack...

Sukasa found a SyrupJar on square 14; that restores 5FP to the party, if you didn't remember...

BooUrns found a Red Coin on his square, which is worth 20 coins and restores 2HP...

Sails got a face full of a Flame attack from a Fire Dude, which did 4 damage, but thankfully didn't burn him too badly...

So there you have it. Let me know who you need me to check in on next, and I'll get you another status report.

Subject: Update on Pits' Status

Hi Kattwah! I've found time to check in with the crews working to re-excavate the other Pits, and I'm afraid I have some bad news. Crew #8 (working in the easternmost Pit) is completely unresponsive, and asking other nearby crews if they had heard about their whereabouts led me to learn that they had fallen into some sort of interdimensional portal, the likes of which they had never seen before. I asked the crews working in that Pit to be extremely cautious while I asked for your advice on the matter...

In the meantime, I have checked up on the group in the Pit of 10 Trials again:

Sukasa tossed the SuperShroom at Sails but ran smack into a Mullet Bob, taking 6 damage...

BooUrns decided to attack the Fire Dude, doing 5 damage to it but also burning himself... He took 1 damage from the burn, which looks like it will last one more turn.

Tina delivered a boot to the Cheap Cheap's head, critical hitting it for 27 damage and knocking it out instantly. She got 70 SP.

Sails ate the SuperShroom (slightly squashed, after slamming it to the ground), regaining 10 HP. He then fired a Magic Missile at the Fire Dude, doing 4 damage to it.

Tanks, looking for something to Punch, Punches the Fire Dude, doing 8 damage to it, but he burned himself in the process and took 1 burn damage... Luckily, the Fire Dude was knocked out, and Tanks gained 30 SP while BooUrns and Sails gained 15 SP each.

Please get back to me soon; I need to know whether to tell the crews to halt re-excavation of the eastern Pit or not.

Kattwah: Bah... forget the judicial system... and environmental activists...

He sits down at his desk and sighs, putting his headset back on and typing away.

Kattwah: Oh... Nine has been messaging me... crud... I'm in trouble...

A few clicks later and a video feed opens up directly into the action in the pit below...

*Sukasa stumbles upon a seemingly empty square... until you notice something carved into the wall. It's hard to make out but you can read it...

*Tanks finds a Supershroom growing in the ground. You sure those things are safe to eat? You take a point of damage from your burn, but it's gone now!

*Boourns has sadly uncovered another Fire Dude which shoots a flame at him for 3 damage. He also suffers another point from his burn... which cleared up!

*Sails tosses his lucky pebble for a measly 1 damage

The mullet bob is somehow enraged by the pebble thrown at him. He turns red hot and charges at Sails, exploding on contact for a massive 8 damage. He's dead though! Tina and Sails take 45SP each

HP + 3 x 1 = 25
ATK + 1 x 3 = 20
RES MDEF + 1 x 2 = 4
SkP spent on upgrading Punch.



"I don't think I'm going to raise ATK for a while..."

"... But I will use the Mixer with a SuperShroom and Honey Syrup."

(+10 HP + +10 FP would probably blend easier than most things )
