If you mean the one for the GB, yes, I owned it.

And I beat it too.

I think that's Kirby's Dreamland, if I'm not mistaken.

I owned 2 for that. Beat the heck out of the first too. Getting 100% in 2 isn't too terribly easy for the person going through it at age 11 or so.

I had the first one, and I think the one level I hated the most would probably be Kracko's

I hated the Mega Man-style boss refight before Dedede, though... and Dedede himself had some of the most rockin' music back then, too (I still occasionally listen to it )

So does everyone mean the first one as in:Kirbys "I can't copy abilities " Dreamland? I had that one to. Good times good times. I also had the second on the gameboy.

I wanted the GB ones ever since I saw some kid playing them on the bus and thought they looked fun. I'd never played a Kirby game before, so the lack of ability copying didn't occurr to me.

I love the original Kirby's Dream Land, even without the copy abilities... the difficult mode was very annoying though, even though it was just an enemy swap for the most part, I'm not sure if I ever beat it.

I may have beaten Kirby's Dreamland on the harder mode. Though that was years and years ago and I played the hell out of my Gameboy then, I could probably do it again...

As for Kirby's Adventure, I've only played it via emulation but I do like the game. Seemed a bit more open ended for a NES game.

I never ended up beating the final boss. I kept falling to the ground before I could finish it off.

The game itself was very, very fun, though it was a tad easy as everyone said. The only real challenge was finding all the switches since some of the puzzles were a bitch to solve.

All depends on which Kirby game you play.

Squeak Squad is pretty easy and then you run into Kracko and begin swearing for 5 minutes before you figure out what you need to do to take him out. Main challenge in the recent games comes from trying to collect everything.

(...Exception to all Kirby rules: Canvas Curse. IT WILL OWN YOU.)

Goddammit I hate that.

I still need to figure out which direction is the boss for world 7 of Kirby/Amazing Mirror.

It gets a lot easier once you learn his patterns and realize that you should just keep mashing the "fire" button. I did it on my first try (granted, I had 1 HP left)...

Oh my god, Kattwah's layout works!
--------------------------------

Oh, I did keep mashing the fire button, but I don't think I was mashing it fast enough

I know with most Kirby games there are always two parts to the "real" final boss - is there more to expect after the firing part?

I love Kirby's Adventure. I owned it, but I'm not sure what happened to the cartridge after my dad moved. It may be buried in a box of stuff we picked up from his house a couple of years ago.

I beat it repeatedly on my old NES. Nightmare (the final boss we are all speaking of) was tough, but I got to a point where I could reliably splatter it. Usually, when I died, I would run out of life as opposed to crashing on the ground. I loved the music during that battle.

S.N.N. - Nightmare has a second form after the flying shooting part. GameFAQs says it's easy. I can't remember it being particularly tough.

Amazing mirror was a fun game, and I did nearly all the bosses but the last ones with Angel

World 7.. I'll have a look at it when I find it.

Amazing mirror angers me... I spent quite a while, and got to nearly the end... then I had to go do something else, so I turned off the game, and the save battery on the used game chose that moment to die.

The first form is amazingly easy for me, it's just following him around and constantly firing... I haven't ever crashed except once where I did it on purpose

The second form, for me, is the hard part... but I honestly think Dedede was harder than it, I'm just bad at dodging/figuring out when to attack
