I found it. Yes, reading the readme file helped a lot. (They called it "readme" for a reason, you know) Of course, I was still wandering around in that screen for a minute or two trying to figure out what was going on. It wasn't too hard to figure out after the first step, though.

Any way, it's kind of funny that you are doing this. I was joking to myself that you were going on a quest to find out everything about this game, and then you actually start said quest. I was both surprised and unsurprised at the same time.

The game enjoys not restoring sprites. You can probably figure out why.

I do know why it doesn't work on the overworld in the GBC version, though I won't hesitate to say it is the most retarded reason I could imagine.

If you're meaning what I think you mean, all the houses and stuff were labeled "?!" originally ("something of interest here"); the shops have their own icon (a house simply labeled "shop"), dungeons have one, owl events have another...

So, I'm not so sure that's my fault

It shows how far you've gotten on hacking Link's Awakening DX.

I've tried playing it on GBC mode (like your readme said not to), and everything is the same, except the hacked area seemed unchanged graphically.

You can connect to it (xkeeper.shacknet.nu 378, RAW mode), but why bother? It doesn't do anything yet.

I often poke fun at a friend of mine for switching between projects far too often.
