And too bad there aint any homing missile in the game, what would be fun, is that, if theres a part editor/maker for this, as homming missiles, faster "slow ray" or missile generator!
Unless theres a tutorial for this... |

There are homing "lasers" but they're essentially missiles.

There's a way to avoid the editor's disappearing bullets glitch, it seems. If you're going to hit the reset button, first hit the stop button and wait for every bullet to fade away. THEN hit the reset button and the glitch shouldn't occur.

Hooray! I finally finished another boss! This ship has been bothering me for nearly three days. But at last! It lives!
Cuckoo Condor
That's right! It's the boss from Wario Land 4! I tried to make it as close to game as possible. Only thing it doesn't do is swing the claw around when damaged.

Oh, I had to put two cores to prevent the whole thing from selfdestructing when the clock is destroyed. A shadowed core is simply placed over the normal one, with some scripting in place to make sure that the core can't be destroyed by shooting it to death. Also, the shadow core is self-destructed to prevent a third power-up from appearing.

Guess what? New version of Fraxy (guess they were waiting for Firefox 3 to come out?) is out now. It adds new effectors, a frame advance button for the editor, a wait button for the editor (something about slowing-down and speeding-up the framerate or something, haven't checked yet), and something about alpha effects.

While making my latest ship, I noticed there's a graphical error for large Sonic Wave guns with the Flip flag. The edges flip around, but don't move, so it looks silly. Anyway, here is my newest creation, which requires the latest version.
Valencia
A very straight-forward, no-nonsense boss. No indestructible parts, no shadowed parts, just a normal ship with a whole lot of weapons. The only script used is to activate effectors. Its signature is the V-shaped vulcan mount on the back half of the ship.

Zeta Mk V - 9.5/10
I like the way you use the effectors, and overall it's a rather well-designed boss. I see you still have the exploder-tank obsession.

All the new stuff is cool, but I think the shield was shortened to only 5 seconds.
Trapper
A devious ship protected by multiple traps. Anyone who does not approach this ship with caution from any side is sure to be destroyed. Players should take extra caution towards the front of the ship.
Hurricane
A massive spiralling fortress filled to the brim with weapons. The only advantage the player has is being immune to the dozens of electric shock generators lining the outer and inner walls. Those who face it should be prepared for a long and difficult battle. LAGGY.

New update! With a LOT of new content. Get it here or check the homepage for more info (if you can read japanese or plan on using google/whatever translator).
New parts:
- Head Core (looks similar to the player ship; you can set it as the main core but it doesn't have any actions yet (that'll come in the next update))
- Needle Gun (it's essentially a machine gun, and has an interesting firing pattern)
- Ripple (fires an energy circle at you, see this image for an example)
- Lots of new hull-type parts
-- A new "Block" part
-- 4 "decoration" parts
-- 7 new "plate" parts
-- 4 "shell" parts
-- 4 new "tip" parts
- 2 new effectors (flash and flash-red, actually I think flash might've already been there but I'm not sure)
New Editor functionality:
- New events
-- You can change the draw order (1 for on top of everything, 5 for under everything, 2-4 are the middle options) with events now
-- You can change certain "extra parameters" of weapons
--- The parameters are {bounce, initial speed, ending speed, curve} (1, 2, 3, 4, respectively)
---- This is for bullet/etc firing weapons only, if used with other parts then the parameters mean different things and I haven't documented those yet
----- For more info go here, I made a tutorial/explanation for them
-- Change the score parameter (see below for more info)
- New score parameter (you can change how many points you get for destroying the part), can also be changed via events

This update is definately a good one. I'm really curious to see what they do with the currently-immobile Head Core...
Anyway, I made two new ships. The second one requires the latest update. On a side note, I almost have 80 ships! Woo!

It's King Dedede! He has four different attacks which he cycles through. Pretty simple boss.
Dancing Rain
Simple boss with pretty patterns. Lots of bullets.
Update: A WIP background. I can't really think of a good second layer, but I don't want to leave it blank. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Maybe you should put the stars and stuff into different layers in the very background, and the planet in yet another layer (set it to a very low speed or something). For an extra layer... some small asteroids or dust or whatever should be good enough.
