Last I checked Wiki, the throughput could max out at ~4.8 Gbit/s.

This could very well mean that some USB 3.0 hardware might not be cross compatible with other hardware.
As if we didn't have enough of this happening already in the computer industry...

Now see they had mentioned prior to this that it WOULD be backwards compatible with USB 2 and 1. :\

Final specs on USB 3.0 to be released one week from now...

And production would follow now long afterwards.
