Well, this place isn't hot. It's 10 - 15 degrees celsius, or something. Not sure of the excact temperature, as the thermometer is now in direct sunlight, so it says it's 39. That's obviously wrong.

CNN says it's 12.

It just sucks over here in VA like Tanks and Kattwah said. Humid as anything. Yesterday it was 103F with the heat index at 9:00 AM. Wow.

Where I live, it's very cloudy, foggy and it can drizzle sometimes. Yup, it's June Gloom.

Today, as I described it to my grandmother, it was 96 with a humidity of swimming pool and a heat index of hell.

And because I still need a job, I walked all the way across town (I'd estimate about 1.5-2 miles each way)... only to find out that the place I went to had just hired someone.

When the country starts to heat up, San Francisco is very, very, very nice. The weather has been awesome all week, mid-70s and little wind. However, when the rest of the country is nice, it is f-ing cold with all the fog, and low level clouds, and all that nasty cold weather like stuff.

Apparently, thanks to today's rain, the heatwave has snapped. THANK *insert diety here*.

... And now, thanks to this whole user proximity business, I'm wondering how many people here are in New York. I know Googie is in Corona, Queens, which is... not that far from me, I think. (According to Google Maps, "Corona NY" starts right down the block from the big Queens Center Mall. )

Well I guess its good that I'm not going up to VA this year and that everyone is coming down. Last year when I went up there the heat wasn't too bad and that was at the end of May. Now Vegas in September...that's bad. Dry heat is the worst.

Yeah, that's what you think.

At least with dry heat, you can get wet and cool down with a fan or use a swamp cooler or what-have-you.

When it's very humid, it's just awful.
