It's interesting to see a TAS of a PlayStation game.

9 hours seems to be a bit too long for me to see, but since it gets the best ending I can see why it's long.

This may be of interest

In short, however: TAS = A movie made using savestates and slowdown. They aim to be perfect; i.e., a demonstration of how a god would play a game with perfect reflexes and knowledge.

I find they're a nice deviation from normal speedruns.

The problem is that a lot of the basis of Tasvideos is the key-input files.

Without something like that, it would be very easy to say that the video was edited, sped up, or cheated in other ways.

He's simply opting to not take that chanse, and it makes sense.
