I'm at the final month in Persona 3: FES.

So far, Odin has been ridiculously useful as well as my Gungnir which boosts lightning.

I've defeated The Reaper without much trouble too (well, the second time around, when I got the request to beat it). All in all, I think I'll beat the game tomorrow, or in two days =D

EDIT: oh yeah, I'll have max social links soon, too

I've decided to try my hand at "Starfox 2." I've managed to beat it on hard so far... but... well... Here's the carnage report...

Yea... In before someone makes a bad Slippy impression... "FAWWWWWX!"

The land walker missions are amazing. There are a few puzzles on the plants that took me a few moments to figure out. The space combat can be tough. the little squads sent to terrorize Corneria have a tendency to spread themselves apart so that you're never able to liberate a planet. Missiles aren't too bad to handle. If you're playing on hard, you also run into quite a few mini-bosses. Those guys can be a pain sometimes.

I'm disappointed this never got released, it's an amazing game when played on hard. Easy just seems too, well, easy! I'll have to go at it on expert next, but from what I've heard, it's a real pain.

I guess I should finish TWEWY too. I was ahead of everyone in that and then... WOOSH! Exams... ... ...

Re-put Growlanser 5 back in to get a little distance in on it. Got past a point that was bugging me for a long time.

Hopefully I get to another point where I can beat it or far in and, if that happens, then go to another Growlanser that I own and finally finish one or the other. 2 and 3 have yet to be beaten.

Resident Evil 4 for me. Just haven't played it in a while. I'm on Chapter 5-3 about to fight "IT". I'm not looking forward to that after watching my brother do it.

I also started playing a Zelda Classic quest called 'Link to the Heavens' yesterday night. It's very well done from what I've seen. Lots of new items, features, graphics and music. Very fun.

Continuing the theme... Just grabbed Tales of Legendia (making it my first sealed one). Also Odin Sphere and Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow.

I'm slowly trying to give DS yet another chance, might look into Contra 4 or something I know is high quality to ease the process.

Those 5 free HD-DVD movies from the rebate finally came too.

I've been spending a lot of my video game time on Star Fox 64, recently, due to basically playing the crap out of Okami.

I've been improving quite a bit and somehow managed to nab a few medals. Not too great, though, since they were all simple ones: Fortuna, Solar, Macbeth, and Katina. I was incredibly close to getting the one on Aquas with a frustrating 147 hits.

Although, I haven't been focusing on the medals too much -- just simply trying to do well. Except Venom. I'm determined to get to the Star Wolf version of it with all my wingmen in decent condition and, uh, the Hyper Laser so I can get 204 hits. I always manage to die once or twice on Area 6.

High score's 1094. Considering my first score was around 500, this is a pretty dramatic improvement.

Managed to get that Corneria medal after about five retries. Retried on Macbeth once, since I somehow missed switch number 6, even though I seemingly shot it. Other than that, I didn't lose any lives. A first for me.

What pissed me off, though, was the Star Wolf fight -- it was perfect up until Wolf was the last one left. I took a bit too long and got a 20-hit bonus, bringing my hit total up to 174.

Then Andross is defeated, and I see the counter going up... and it stops at 197. Cue frustration 101! Surprisingly enough, though, I came out of the fight with one hit -- which happened to bring my health from low to virtually nothing -- and managed to survive the FOLLOW ME MY SON sequence. I usually fly into a wall or two.

But yeah, a general improvement regarding evasion, but my final hit total is about 40 less than my top. Whatever.
