Well, I beat The Legend of Zelda a while back, so I started on another Zelda game I haven't beaten, Oracle of Ages.
After a lot of running around, getting lost, playing mini-games, getting lost, running around, and getting lost while running around in dungeons, I finally made it to the 8th dungeon. No deaths.
This game is hard for all the wrong reasons... :/

Oh yeah, I finally decided to play Final Fantasy VII. (It's been laying around forever...)
I just got past that dumb cross-dressing part, and so far... I'm thinking I should just sell the game.
But, no... I said I would beat it before I sold it, and I'm keeping my word. (Just in case I might actually begin to like it enough to keep it later on.)

If you sell, shoot me a PM, provided it's the PSX vers.

*looks at his BKLGRY.*

Yeah, aside from playing Pump, I am also playing Wind Waker again and I am on my way to the Wind Dungeon. And yes, I enjoy the sailing. It gives the game a lot of exploration.

I am also working on beting the evil second quest in Zelda 1 O_o

I beat the second Quest in Zelda 1.

I bought a $20 DS game called Cross Words and I love it

and in the next 5 minutes, I am going to be starting Earthbound over again.

Haha, I remember that... that game's dialogue is astounding. (Why does Firefox's spell-checker deny that dialogue is a word?)

I just got Disgaea (spelt right?) II for the PSP and I'm currently stuck at the Gagantuon battle with Kurtis. Trying to get my Ninja 1000 SPD before I go back there, since thats the only thing that can hit him..

My characters are weirdly leveled. Laharl is 70, then my Ninja at 59, then it goes to my priest who is 17. Is there anyway to level a character quickly without having to go back to low level maps? My priest can't exactly kill anything, I just want to progress with the story currently.

Shion / Acmlm : What game is that?

That'd be Disgaea 1, not 2, although you do get a few characters from 2 in the portable version

Your top two characters are almost good enough for the final battle already, or would be if the rest wasn't so far down ... but getting them up when you have higher characters isn't hard, here's a few things that can help:

- Have them be part of attack combos with the better characters, any EXP gained is shared
- Earn a EXP bonus from the bonus gauge (the item world is good for that) and bring them all out before clearing the map, like this
- Give one of them the best items you have (even a sword on a priest will do) and kill stuff
- For the priest specifically, give it some mage pupils and learn the spells so it can fight like a mage
- If you remember the map with the invincible succubus/nekomata (from episode 5), throwing them all into the single unaffected tile gives one level 112 enemy you can easily kill for good EXP (if you have enough ATK/INT to get past its DEF/RES)
- Valgipus IV (first map in episode 9) is another good leveling spot once you can kill multiple enemies at once

Soul Nomad (& the World Eaters), NIS's latest game in the series, until Disgaea 3 anyway

- Using a combo (hint: multiple attacks at once, but only normal ones benefit) to increase damage will also help with levelling.
- Winged Slayer on any sword user (mastery 10) is good for Valgipus IV
- Transmigrating characters is also good
- Getting Stasticians from the Item Worlds are also good
- Using range to your advantage (guns, etc) to kill from a distance the enemy can't reach back at

For the most part, you don't really have an option ... in the first cycle (assuming you play it normally), the only real thing you can do is just build up levels by visiting older maps ...

Acmlm's tip about getting your priest some mages (at least average if not higher) and getting them a lot of levels quickly would be good, then your Priest could join in the fun (the ice stages around chapter 5's maps are really good leveling for red mages, and Salamander's Breath later on is good for blue mages...)

It just takes time and effort; you can't rush though the story without building a decent team, unless you're just powerleveling one character beyond all reason...

Well let's see here...if you've got layouts enabled, you'll see the backloggery.com image.

Anyway, now playing: The World Ends With You and Fraxy.
TWEWY: This game was so easy at the beginning, now it's hard (and sometimes annoying)...meh. I'm determined to beat it, and I'm on the final day of Ch3, so I'm close.
Fraxy: Well, I plan on making another Fraxy vid soon, so I guess that counts or something.

I'm playing TWEWY as well, but I've gotten pretty far completionwise. I've gotten every secret report, fought every noise (but not on every difficulty, No.96 is hard enough on Easy!), collected over 80% of items, and mastered 60+% pins. About 2700 fights, have yet to clear Final Time Attack on Hard (only tried once, and lost midway through)

Been playing Blue Dragon a little. Might take a while, I'm at the point where its still fairly easy. Just found the sheep village...

Also was able to get Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space for free. Not quite like Star Fox, but still a lot of flying and shooting things.

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops is fun too. That familiar sound when you get seen creeps me out sometimes. Even on a handheld.

After what's probably been a year since buying a sealed DS game... This.

Yes, that's right. First new one since Pokemon Pearl. I didn't even buy Diamond! Always had a preference for PSP, so finally having one that works has made DS somewhat useless.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 was cheap too. For the heck of it, I'm terrible at such things. I'll eventually learn how to score goals in soccer and hockey games.

Touhou Puyo Puyo? I must know more about this.
About games I've been playing? Way too many. I need to actually finish some games, though I'm pretty close to completing Golden Sun. :\

Looks like a rip on Puyo Fever though with the seconds gauge...but only with 2-puyo capability. Weird.

Agreed. Seasons was so much better.

I've been just playing Freelancer for the most part lately. I've played a few other games here and there, but...

Disgaea 2 again. This time on my first save I got the last pirate map, but am far too weak to do Land of Carnage stuff just yet.

So I'm stacking felonies for extra EXP boosts and going from there.
