| Machead, I believe that you can be any age for forums. Unlike some people, I'm willing to give anyone a chance that doesn't use excessive !'s and ?'s, also has some idea of what the English language and grammatical standard is. So you could be 3 and so long as you can type coherently and add to a topic, then anyone could post on a message board.
I do find it interesting however guys that he made a valid topic (Silly or not) and you came in and did go off-topic, making fun of him to boot. Can we not let people feel welcome? How quick we seem to forget how young Imajin was... ____________________  |

| I agree with S&T, you can be any age just as long as you don't act like an idiot.
Besides, back when I first joined, I acted worse than this guy, so I think he should be given a fair chance. Any way, the age limit you suggested is in the range most people tend to leave forums. Chances are it's caused by the events in these people's lives, like college, jobs, marriage, etc. So, I guess you are too "old" for a forum when your life gets in the way. Other than that, I don't think you can really get too "old" for a forum, as long as you still fit in with the community. |

Since you didn't lived this era of gaming (ops, now I feel old) it may surprise you that the average gamer may be older than you think, but it does make sense to me. Welcome to the forum. It is always a good idea to spend some days, weeks, or whatetever time you need to feel what these forums are about and what kind of behaviors are not tolerated. I say this especially because of the ROM Hacking forums, which are essentialy technical content, and if you don't work on that you are missing the best of it. Also, it seems that GuyPerfect is the youngest member of the forum. Now that is what I call a mature 8 year old! He has actualy cracked undocumented compression formats and even wrote editors for N64 games! |
