I have no idea what to think here. But I'm pretty sure Bioshock creator Ken Levine never wanted this to happen.

Kotaku does a lot of interviews with him and whatnot. I'm pretty sure he once laid it out pretty clearly that a movie just wouldn't work at all.

Also ... assuming this will only appeal to fans of the game, we're all going to know what happens.
