Got into Halo 3 again. This time around I am rally trying to better myself, so I joined a Halo 3 clan.

Bully: Scholarship Edition for Wii.

Looked like a cool game when it first came out on Xbox, but I don't have it, so I had to wait for the Wii release. Glad I was able to pick it up, it's a pretty fun game. My favorite thing to do, I must say, is throw firecrackers at people .

That looks interesting.

Also, I've got Arcana Heart coming in end of this week or start of next.

I'm playing Mario Kart Wii, which is so far amazing and will need a tourney once it's out in the states. People don't seem to understand why I intend to buy it when I got the British one. And I'm still playing Smash Bros.

Sadly, stores around here don't appear to carry either Arcana Heart or Okami from what I've seen...

It's also too bad my 360 really doesn't like running The Orange Box. Gets occasional random crashes and graphic artifacts.

On the other hand, HL2 Xbox is 100% stable.

No Gamestop/EB Games?

Arcana's going for 29 bucks. Okami's probably going to be harder than hell to find now but I would still try GS/EB regardless.

I didn't have the option at the moment so I did the trusty ol' eBay. That IS if you're wanting the PS2 version. The Wii version JUST came out OR is still under pre-order until TOMORROW for some places. Most of the copies REGARDLESS still run 40 bucks or more.

Checked one GS/EB for Arcana, didn't see it. There were a few others in the town I didn't bother to. This was before the Okami release date.

Walmart/Kmart don't appear to have either. I looked yesterday at those stores.

Remember... Some games are MUCH rarer around here than the national average. Think back to what I said about taking over 15 years to find Super Castlevania IV used, let alone new.

Well, sure, I understand that...I just figured they would have it. :\

Even a GameStop in the middle of Arkansas had it. :\

Cave Story (PSP, at work when on breaks), Phoenix Wright 3...

I did beat Dossun! Stone Battle yesterday out of boredom, and I've been playing too much Columns in general still, but aside from that, not much of anything...

We got a couple of reserves for Arcana Heart so we got extra copies shipped in to my store. Chances are, the stores that do not have the game in stock didn't have a single reserve for it, so the company will send more copies to stores that had reserves for it.

---

I haven't d/l an emulator in a long while, but the other day I had the want to play Oregon Trail. So I got the Apple II and I was playing Oregon Trail the other night. Classic.

I'll probably never find Tales of Symponia now either. Long since out of print and all.

Again, eBay.

Anya: So that's how it works...I kinda figured it was something like that for the lower grossing and rarer games. Do you guys even keep copies of something like Growlanser Generations any more (even though it's been out for just a few months)? ATLUS is like that in a LOT of things...

They make good games it's just, outside of NIS (Disgaea, etc.), their localization sucks.

Maybe if I find a seller that takes money orders. But the idea of giving some random schmo my mailing address doesn't exactly appeal to me. I'm one of those oldtimers who likes to use cash in person.

This whole era of cell phones, credit cards, digital distribution, etc... No thanks.

That's why you get PayPal...which doesn't allow them information past where you're going...and besides, even that's secured...of course I believe that takes debit information at the very least.

Course, sure, there's always a limit...but you're looking for games that are out of print; I'm just telling you what works. I've used it enough and known it to be secure enough so I know.

Don't you need a checking account for that to work? I think I signed up on PayPal, but didn't have the right thing to deposit money with or something...

Good news: I found the PS3 version of Orange Box for an outstanding price, in better condition than the 360 one. It has the manual and does not crash.

Bad news: I'd managed to test 360 Orange Box on another system, it still apparently crashes from what I can tell. But hard to tell if it's for the same reason. As this other 360 wasn't connected to Live, which meant no patch downloads.
