Well, after over a year of work on this hack, it's finally ready!

I'm happy to now have the first and third complete Yoshi's Island hacks . If you want to be technical, it is the second complete hack, since S.N.N. left out some of the Extra levels in his hack. But whatever the case, here is the hack:

In case you were wondering what the hack features:

- 50 all-new levels of classic Yoshi's Island design! Journey through 5 worlds to reunite Baby Mario with Baby Luigi.
- Now unlock an Extra and a Secret level by scoring 100% on each world!
- Enhanced Yoshi colors! Every Yoshi now has its own boot colors, as seen in the introduction scene. Plus, two new Yoshi colors, gray and black, for the Extra and Secret levels.
- Pit of 50 Trials, inspired by the Pit of 100 Trials in the Paper Mario series. How many floors can you beat? And what will you win?
- Custom level icons

Of course, please remember you must patch the .ips to v1.0 (U) of the ROM. If you patch it to the wrong version, you will likely get the following errors:
1. The message box border in the introduction scene will be glitched
2. When you get to the "Welcome Back To Yoshi's Island" screen, it will freeze.
If this happens, please double-check to see if you have the right version. Please refrain from posting such error in the thread, as usually the first several replies when I release a YI hack are "It doesn't work." If you still have trouble, drop me a PM and I can help in any way I can .

Fuck, I missed the first post here.

Anyway, as I said on SMWC, totally awesome. It was great to test and playthrough, and the final result is sheer brilliance. I don't want to go on a whole rant using every synonym for awesome, but I recommend that everyone who liked SMW2+ to check this out - you will love this one even more.

Awesome job, Golden Yoshi! I've passed this along to raocow and hopefully he'll play it after he finishes S.N.N.'s hack.

Just a quick glossing over your levels makes me believe you've come a very long way since SMW+.

Considering this thread has recieved 137 'hits' from SomethingAwful (more specifically, here...)

Either SA has an ungodly amount of traffic to waste, or there's just a lot of users interested in this. I can't really tell.

Their userbase is absolutely enormous .. not to mention how many people look in the Let's Play forums alone. I'd say it's a mixture of both that brought people here.

By the way GY, I still have yet to see the 4-7 and 5-7 icons. I'll have to download it again and check them out

You know, I had a feeling someone would say that, in those exact words.

As for the hits from the SA forum, Kles said he passed it onto raocow, who is a member there. Plus, one of the members even asked me when it'd be released, so they maybe they've been following it, I don't know.

Raocow has a massive following of viewers who tune in every day for the new video. Being played by raocow is probably the best exposure a romhack could ever receive.

I would view this as a good thing since a lot of the people watching get the hack to try for themselves.
