When at home or, better, when you go out, how often do you have a USB thumbdrive on hand?
Because I asked and USB thumbdrives are dirt cheap now...
I almost always have one on hand (or neck) wherever I go.

Usually have one but it's mostly for work and not for play.   0.0%, 0 votes
I own one; it's a nice thing to have when I need it.

Hardly use it even though I have one.

Thumbdrives are what?

I have a thumbdrive, but I mainly use it for storing assignments for my classes.

I also have some random stuff stored on there as well (such as a joke Power-point about an April Fool's TPIR prize).

I thought they were called flashdrives. :/

Anyways, yeah, I have one. It's some crappy 2GB one I stole from Target about a year ago. It was meant for school, and I do use it for school, but I also keep random images, music, videos, and the occasional file that I steal from my school's computer

They can be called either thumbdrives or flash drives.

I tend to call them flash drives, though I didn't in my post. D:

I've seen them called thumbdrives, flashdrives, USB sticks and a half a dozen other names.

I keep one in my wallet, It's my main source of transport for assignments I'm working on between home and uni (because quite frankly the Uni's remote login service is slow and a pain in the arse).

Got one in my pocket right now. 16MB (bought it years ago), to transfer files from one of the work comps to home. Hey, they paid for it and set it up so the drive would be recognized properly (otherwise, it'd try to show up as the E drive, and E's already mapped to a network drive).

Just saying, once again, that they're very useful away from home...

I normally use an external hard drive, but I keep a USB microSD reader in my coat pocket and use that with my microSD card... that counts, right?

I only have a USB drive and a MicroSD reader with me when I'm at school... since my current computer has no USB ports...
