Ok, so this is the first layout I have ever attempted. Think it came out alright? Any suggestions? For one thing, I'm really not sure about the font. Is it legible enough for everyone to read? I was trying to find one that had a handwriting look to it but wasn't overly flowery. Normal ones like Verdana stood out a little much. Also. I'm debating on where to put the image on the left side. Should I leave it there, shrink it down a little and just make it my avater, or move it over to the right side instead? I'd appreciate any feedback.

About the same as most of the layouts we're using right now as it is. Works just fine really.

Though I think we should just declare this -the- layout to use on this board anymore.

EDIT: The tile background just loaded after I posted that. Big turnoff. You'd be better off with just a solid black.

Or (sigh) another dark transparent background, but yeah, the tiling is a bit too much.

I might experiment with making it easier to read soon.3

I like it, but I have a few suggestions:

1. Try to center the post area. In my opinion, it looks strange at the top of the post like that, but it may just be me...

2. The font is a bit too big. You probably should have it at 12px if you're using Verdana.

I don't have that font either, but if this image is anything to go by, it seems like it may be a bad choice for a layout font...

It actually looked a little more legible than the one I had, but I wasn't planning on keeping it. Actually I was in the middle of expirimenting with the fonts when somehow I goofed up my password and couldn't log back into the board. Maybe I'll just go ahead and use Verdana. I wanted to use a font that would fit the theme a little better, but nothing's working in that regard while still being legible. Thanks for the feedback guys. Think it looks better now? I might continue to tweak it a bit more if I'm home tomorrow.

No need for bold. The blockquote color difference is massive and could probably be dropped a bit.
